i like the texture and the lighting, it gives a rusty/tough look on the character. hmmm, the contrast on his forehead and the hair seems a bit too strong, maybe you can add a bit blue-ish tone on the side.

I am in awe. It's sometimes a pain to comment on every beautiful thing I see here on DA, nut I am truly in love with this. I am always jealous of those who can digitally paint. I wish someone would teach me how to do it. Did you use reference for this at all? It's so splendid! omposition, colors, execution... All so wondefurl. Bravo. Glad it will be on the cover of a book where lots of people will see it!
